NBHA MT 5 Update 2019

 

Director’s Update:

Hello everyone,
We are getting close to wrapping up the 2019 season for our district. I have updated the standings as of Oct. 10. They are unofficial at this time as I will do a final audit of the points after the last races in October. As you can see, there are a few ties for points this year. Ties will be broken by number of races attended and then amount of money won.

We will have our awards banquet on November 9 at the Eagles Club in Kalispell at 6 pm. We will be meeting in the basement. This will be a potluck, so please bring a dish to share. You are also encouraged to bring a wrapped gift for our door prize drawings. We welcome your family to the banquet. Following the meal, we will have a short district meeting and then move into our year-end awards.

If you attended 8 races this year, you will be eligible for a free club vest. If you did not attend enough races you can still order a vest but the cost will be $40. Please let me know by Friday, Oct. 11 if you would like to order one. The vests can be seen on the Facebook page.

Congratulations go out to all of the District 5 competitors at our state finals. We swept the Target Race with Portia McCaffree winning it with .001. She was followed by Carissa Stoner and Ireland Root. We also swept the youth division. Youth Average Winners – 1D – Brielle Zemple; Tamara Zaugg – 2D; Abby Albrecht – 3D; Tamara Zaugg – 4D. Open Average winner was Abby Knight – 1D.  Please look on the NBHA Montana Website for full results.
